The Langtang-Gosainkunda-Trek will take you along the border or Tibet through three major areas Langtang, Gosainkunda and Helambu.
Langtang valley is called "the valley of glaciers'. Here mountains rise, soaring towards the sky around you. This part of the trek is at a comfortably low elevation and you will get the opportunity to discover villages, glaciers and small peaks. The Langtang valley trek offers pine forest, swift mountain streams, rugged rock and snow peaks, grassy downs and meadows strewn with daisies and wild primal. Some of the sights you will see are a Buddhist monastery, a cheese factory, yaks, glaciers and mountain lakes. You will visit Gosainkunda Lake, one of the holiest lakes in Nepal, which is sacred to both Hindus and Buddhists, and where thousand of pilgrims throng each August to bathe in its cold and spiritually refreshing water during the full moon festival. In Hindu legend it is written that in order to obtain water the God Siva drove his trident into the ground forming the lake
